Joel Fernandez Ramos is from Ponce. His previous education includes a B.S. in Geology from UPR Mayaguez. He is currently a masters student under the supervision of Dr. Clark Sherman.His research interests include the depositional and environmental history of the coastal salt ponds of southwest Puerto Rico.
